The books of the Minor Prophets are set in their historical background in the years 750 - 400BC and what we know about their authors (sometimes very little) is discussed.  The various aspects of the overall message of each prophet are drawn together rather than a detailed discussion chapter by chapter and verse by verse being given.  This message is related to the overall message of the Bible and especially to the gospel of salvation through Christ with the continuing call of God to his people to listen to his voice above all others and follow his Son in wholehearted obedience.
